Never really pried into why exactly. I know Jay lives elsewhere on the island and still regularly surfs. Danny is co/owner of the Billabong Surf Camp in Corralejo.

Hi Donna, apologies for the belated reply. I’ve not logged in here for a while so only just seen your comment to approve it and reply.
To be honest I feel somewhat speechless that you would come here on such a poignant family day. There is nothing more certain, I’m sure, than the countless others who no doubt feel exactly the same way inside. I just happened upon writing it up because its the only way I can truly express my feelings. Make sense of things that don’t make sense, ‘if that makes sense’ (Yikes, quite the mouthful).

We scattered clyde’s ashes today as close family at cowm reservoir in whitworth.

After reading this again it brings tears to my eyes xx I miss my sweet heart so much and wear my engagement ring with pride x I feel privileged he came into my life and we had 8 and a half years together.

Hi Deborah, I honestly hadn’t given much thought to how others may interpret or possibly appreciate my post until receiving comments from the likes of your good self and those on Facebook. I just knew I wanted to write something as it I felt it would help me honour Clyde in my own little way. The words just naturally flowed as I sat typing. Truly humbled that they have helped you too. We’ve all been dealt quite a shock and he has connected and united us all who were blessed to be touched forever by that smile and those eyes. It looks like timing and circumstances will prevent us from going to the funeral so thank you for this post all the more.
